It’s official: I own DJ equipment, and my living room has a new center of gravity. I bought it because music has always been how I celebrate, decompress, and get through a long week — and I wanted to be part of making it, not just hearing it.

Beginner truths so far: transitions are harder than they look, counting beats is a real skill, and nothing beats the moment two songs finally blend the way you heard them in your head.
